Another early favourite on Beautiful Brits was Chrissie, who is now proving somewhat popular on the Spick and Span 2000 downloads on Vintage Fetish. Chrissie did shifts behind the bar at my local in the village in North Essex I moved to when I had had enough of London. She was a chatty bubbly presence as she pulled the pints. I hadn’t divulged anything about my by then full-time profession, but one evening when Jo was there with me she asked Jo what she did for a living. So Jo told her. Chrissie was wide-eyed with interest. It didn’t take long for her to agree to top up her pub wages posing for the camera. She was 20 at the time. Chrissie stayed on board for several years after her debut (unlike Shaw’s Scottish contingent — see previous post). We are still in touch. In fact, I had dinner with her a few weeks ago.
