Miss Jones
One of the first regulars on Spick and Span 2000 was Miss Jones. She had not been Miss Jones until she appeared on S&S2k. In fact, I don’t think she had appeared online until we got together. Miss Jones and her husband ran a small photo studio in their bungalow on the South Coast, not a million miles away from Nicola Taylor territory. It was to this humble abode I turned up for the initial shoot, examples from which are posted here. We settled on the name Miss Jones as she had worked in the library of an educational institution. There was no questioning her extraordinary appeal. Subsequent photo shoots led to talks about creating her own website, a kind of comic strip portraying the hapless adventures of the dizzy librarian. We thrashed it all out over lunch in a small Italian restaurant in Covent Garden. I built the framework for it and it was taken over by Mr Jones. The rest as they say is history. Miss Jones 2000 is still going to this day for those who want to dip into the past of a great stocking-tops internet gal.
