Tiffy and Co
Mike Haywood could be quite generous with his “discoveries”. He came by the way of Tiffy from a studio in Colchester where she had some pictures taken to get into modelling. Mike recommended her to me. And Tiffy proved to be every inch a bubbly model. Tiffy, of course, was not her real name. She was given that by Mike because she bore a bit of a resemblance to a character in EastEnders — and looking back that wasn’t entirely unreasonable. Tiffy quickly became a conduit for a number of other models who became regulars in Spick and Span 2000 and Beautiful Brits. I spotted Tasha when I picked up Tiffy from the shoe shop in which she and Tasha worked. A casual mention led to Tasha eagerly joining the gang. Nina was Tiffy’s best mate, who also didn’t need a second ask, and they brought on board Nell who in turn suggested her chum Chloe. Tiffy, it could be said, was the Nicola Taylor of S&S2k, opening the door to a great little troupe of exclusive leggy lovelies. Those days, sadly, are long gone.
