Staying in Park Lane (Croydon, that is), herewith another photograph taken at those premises. The lady, a very engaging model, was Christine Barnett, who apparently hailed from Farnham in Surrey, not a million miles away. Whether the vacuum cleaner was plugged in, I haven’t bothered to check. The period was circa 1960-61. J B Fullarton was still a go-to man at this point, but would shortly give way to the Bearsden Bailey. Whoever the Croydon lensman was deserves a little bit more recognition in the ToCo pantheon.
