Debby-Ann

One of the loveliest girls in every way you could meet, Debby-Ann Quorrell, who also called herself Debby-Ann Trent, was a hugely sought-after double d model in the late 1980s/early 1990s. She was one of those who straddled (no pun intended) tabloid newspapers, top-shelf mags and soft-core videos. These included the Star, the Sport, Penthouse, Parade, Club International, Electric Blue, Rosalind Woods and, yes, Fiona Cooper (with whom funnily enough she fell out). She found a spot of fame in the US where a restaurant in Colorado was named after her, Debby Duz Doughnuts. She also ran a studio and model management business in her home town of Stoke (hence the Trent alias). I initially booked one of her girls for a video before filming with Debby herself. The only photographs I took of her were a series of black-and-white portraits, one of which I have posted here. The other photos are stock shots she used to issue to photographers. We got on well. When she started getting a bit disillusioned with the glamour biz (she had got married to a local guy), I discussed writing a book with her, which she was initially keen on. There is always a market for lifting the lid on the girlie racket (though you need the lawyers close at hand). Sadly, it did not come to anything. I imagine she went on to have children and closed the door on her previous life. She was an absolute sweetheart.
