Roxie

Another top Beautiful Brits gal was Roxie, who also had a thing for changing hair colour. Here she is in her red phase. Roxie and Beth were possibly what were referred to as “alternative” models — that is, models with jazzy hair colours, tattoos and piercings. Now, of course, it is the models who do not have any of those things that are “alternative” (reminds me of when I went to the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970 and one bloke there in suit, collar and tie, and with short hair, among the reported 600,000, claimed he was the only individual in the crowd). Roxie was (and still is) a very good amateur actress and she has the most dreamy voice. She was pretty good in front of the camera too.
