Just Passing Through

This model gloried under a couple of different names at least about 15 years ago. She travelled to me by train from her home in Wiltshire. When she got to Liverpool Street, there were no services going on the main line. Instead of calling and saying it would be better if she went home as there was no news when the services would be restored, she was directed to another platform and found herself heading for Stansted, at least an hour’s drive from me. So I had to go and pick her up and bring her back to mine, which meant we started two hours later than planned. She was not a very happy bunny (neither was I), but fortunately that did not shine through on the pictures we did. There was not a repeat engagement.
