Freeze Frame
Back in the late Eighties/early Nineties those who rummaged through the familiar topshelf magazines or invested in a couple of back-page-ad videos would possibly have come across this lady. Her name was Sharon, though that wasn’t the name she modelled under. She did one tape for Fiona Cooper (which she hated, not the only one who made the dreaded trip to Halifax) and another for Rosalind Woods — she was somehow considered a mature model. One of the spreads she did for Men Only or some such mentioned she was from Birmingham, which could have been made up (turned out it wasn’t). On a whim I contacted a modelling agency in Brum and received the cards in return; amazingly, lo and behold, there she was. I made the necessary enquiry and she agreed to a video (at no little cost, I might add). I kept the camera running while she changed for the next sequence. This frame comes from that. Bear in mind it is a blow-up from the low-res still extracted from VHS tape.
