Duos have always been a staple part of girlie glamour. ToCo Publications capitalised on their appeal as far back as the very first issues, with Shirley Ann Field doubling up with the less illustrious Sally Elgar Lee. Duos provided the possibility of a model to bring along a friend who otherwise would not have considered appearing in front of the camera or might not have wanted to jump in at the deepend and pose solo. Of course, good mates could spark off each other, which would give the pics extra oomph. Tillie might be one of the top contemporary glamour girls but that hasn’t stopped her from introducing a new buddy into the scene.
