A dozen years ago Carley Watts was one of the upcoming glamour girls who had a meteoric rise into tabloid fame. The tabloid exposure was not about dressing down but covering up. She was reported as marrying a Tunisian lifeguard and converting to his religion. This story appeared in both The Sun and the Daily Mail. It was not fake news, but there is some doubt as to whether she actually went through with it. In any event, it seemed to put an end to her high-profile career. Carley was from a small market town in Norfolk. She had parts in small low-rent movies like Hammer Of The Gods, Blaze of Gory and Six Hot Chicks In A Warehouse (true).
