Dig this. About time Anne Scott was given her due. In my opinion, the Glaswegian was in the top three of all ToCo girls and can make a fair claim to be number one. Along with all the other Shaw discoveries, she did not seem to hang around too long. There were references to Anne appearing in TV shows and commercials, plus bit parts in a number of films, including Carry On Up The Khyber and Follow That Camel. A little digging around (no pun intended) reveals there was an Anne Scott appearing in those two comedies, but also in several other flicks of different genres dating back to 1955. One can safely assume that Anne is not our bonnie Scots lass and a pic with her caption from the Carry On duo seems to bear that out. Never mind! This was a typically dotty ToCo scenario. One finds it hard to believe a lovely dollybird in what looks like evening finery would be out deep in the country with a spade turning the sod. Only in ToCo-land.
