Who in their right mind would be taking a skipping rope deep in to the countryside in wintry weather dressed as if to go out in the evening? Only in ToCo world, and by extension Shaw world. Jane and Annette were part of the early Shaw intake alongside Ann Grainger and Cherie Scott. I have always wondered if Ann was the “mother hen” of the group as she looked a little bit older than the others. As we know, Jane and Annette were happy to pose topless (but not for publication), while there is no sign Cherie did. Where did Shaw access them? My guess would be, as I have said before, a photo studio offering “glamour” nights. Perhaps Ann was one of the organisers. Whatever, they all seem to disappear as quickly as they came, in common with all the Shaw talent. Image scanned from original contact sheet.
